WW2 Land Girl - Costume

This classic 1940's Land Girl features a short sleeved, white V-neck top and a pair of calf-length dungarees with chest pocket and mock belt with buckle detail to front along with part-elasticated waist.

Whilst working the land, land girls often wore a scarf to protect their hair getting caught in the machines, so also included for an authentic look is a plain red, triangular shaped headscarf; a perfect forties fancy dress costume, inspired by the true spirit of a nation, united in times of hardship.
